Republicans are trying to slip something past the American public tonight.

Banks and payday lenders hate a new rule from the @CFPB that protects the right of Americans to have their day in court.

This evening, Republicans are forcing a vote to overturn it, and they’re using something called the Congressional Review Act to do it.

That means they only need 51 votes, so Democrats alone can’t stop it.

So, right now we all need to be putting pressure on Republicans to vote no. Just like we did in the health care fight.
