It was the right decision for me, but it's not for everybody.
I don't think any more or any less of any citizen based solely on their veteran status.
1/
I know many, many vets who are worthy of respect. Admirable. Heroes even.
But I know many who are complete shitheads and that I wouldn't trust to hold my hat while I took a piss.
2/
But the point here is that service, in whatever form, ISN'T REQUIRED.
Freedom means exactly that. You're free to serve in whatever fashion you choose. OR NOT.
3/
So long as those things are legal, then freedom means you can pack sand because you don't get to tell other people how to do freedom.
4/
Here's my problem:
First, the fertilization of the military by those on the right, particularly those who didn't serve themselves.

Fuck him and the limo he rode in on.
8/
If you served, you can use your service. But not anybody else's.
And if you didn't, then shut the fuck up and let others either offer up respect or not as they choose.

I should have known. Folks, you can only pack so much into Twitter, even if in you thread it
