Getting fairly addicted to Anki as a result of this twitter thread from @michael_nielsen & few posts I've encountered in the past gwern.net/Spaced-repetit…. Was easier than I expected to learn lots of countries/states/flags. Wish there were more "open-sourced" anki decks out there.
I tried to Ankify some facts yesterday from a book I'm reading (on how humans are destroying nature, it's really quite uplifting), but find the [book-reading] <-> [Ankifying on laptop] handoff to be somewhat awkward. @michael_nielsen - tips?
Makes me want to work on a browser extension where you can highlight some text from an article on the web and the extension suggests Anki cards to add to your collection.
