Trump/Panama is getting interesting. "Witnesses told the AP they saw Trump's executives carrying files to a room for shredding." I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that it was a haven for the Russian mob to launder money?…
Trump Org in Panama was advised by Alcogal (money laundering connections). Alcogal's trust money is managed by Christodoulos Vassiliades (money laundering connections). Vassiliades is the nominal owner of Trump's Moscow developer.…
In Trump’s 2015 financial disclosures, he claimed earnings of at least $5.8M over the previous 18 months from the Panama properties. One of his Panama companies claimed “$5M and above” in the document, meaning the true amount could really be anything.
Also just for the record, I've requested comment from Alcogal multiple times and they won't get back to me.
Alcogal is extremely interesting. They're sort of like Mossack Fonseca-lite. Fonseca was a Panamanian law firm that the Panama Papers exposed as huge money launderers. Alcogal has high profile clients all around the world with numerous money laundering connections.
I could spend 20 minutes talking about Alcogal's clients but here's the most relevant one. Deripaska (using his mother as a proxy) and Pavel Ezubov (Deripaska's cousin) used Alcogal to set up an offshore company under the EN+ umbrella:…
Okay fine one more: Mukhtar Ablyazov (the chairman of the Kazakh bank who allegedly laundered $3 Billion including some that ended up in Trump SoHo) used Alcogal to set up dozens of companies:…
This is not to say that everyone that uses Alcogal is laundering money; They are involved with at least 40k companies. But have they set up companies for criminals and mobsters? Yes. Did they advise the Trump org? Yes.
