I would like to start by thanking Felix Sater's lawyer, Robert S. Wolf, for sending me a threatening letter, at 6pm on a Saturday night, during the President's Day holiday weekend.

I began publishing about Trump and Sater's unusual relationship last year, as soon as news of the Senate Intel panel seeking records from FinCEN hit the news last May.

The entire Trump family was in business with Felix Sater's Bayrock company throughout the 2000s.

They knew about his felony past.

They concealed it.

That's bank fraud, by concealment.

Trump SoHo's buyers, partners and investors all got defrauded.

Felix Sater and the Bayrock Company had a $2 billion dollar investment pipeline that crashed with projects across the country, but their funding came from the former Soviet Union.

Donald Trump had an 18% stake in the company.

All of Bayrock's other projects cratered or were sold, but Trump SoHo was built.

Only 15.8% of the condo-hotel units sold.

Today, 33% of the units have been sold by their successors.

Trump's family was criminally investigated for lying about the sales figures, a crime in NY.

Don Jr. and Ivanka's statements about Trump Soho sales figures to the foreign press led directly to the Manhattan D.A.'s @CyrusVanceforDA criminal probe.

But family fixer Attorney Mark Kasowitz held a single meeting with no new information with Vance...

Back to Felix Sater.

He achieved great success by retaining the proceeds of his original 1990s crimes, which he acknowledged in his cooperation agreement with the feds, would require a $60 million dollar restitution to his victims.

Yet, Judge Glasser didn't order restitution.

Instead, Felix Sater turned his cooperation with the FBI into a license to defraud hundreds of millions of dollars.

A trio of federal judges protected the entire scheme with a cloak of secrecy in defiance of black-letter of the law statute.

In fact, the judges tried to censor release of information about their censorship activities and to silence the witnesses of Trump and Sater's felony wrongdoing.

That's because the First Amendment also protects the public's right to know what happens in our court systems.

Richard Lerner and Fred Oberlander are the dogged lawyers fighting to expose illegal secrecy in the EDNY federal judicial circuit and took this case up to the Supreme Court to get some of it unsealed. Much remains a mystery that they cannot yet fully reveal about Sater and Trump

“We know that Sater is another Whitey Bulger of financial crimes already,” Yale global justice fellow and New York attorney James S. Henry @submergingmkt told me, “he really has been profiting from all of these crimes, right up to the minute.”

But Sater's daring is only matched by the size of the fat bank accounts he got to keep from his crimes.

He told @BuzzFeedNews @JasonLeopold @a_cormier_ that he cooperated just for the thrill, yet he kept millions for himself from Wall Street & SoHo.

Sater has confirmed the rest of this Russian language interview given just after the 2016 election, and in it, he was blunt:

While nobody knows the whole truth of Sater's claimed involvement with the CIA, we do know that he's trying to sell his #TrumpRussia story to Hollywood now. Here's video.

But before anything is sold, Felix Sater got hauled into the Senate Intel committee last night to testify about the #TrumpRussia affair.

As @a_cormier_ reports, FinCEN has at least 25 SARs indicating potential money laundering from Bayrock.

.@McClatchyDC just reported that Felix Sater just turned state's evidence in the #TrumpRussia probe.

If you read this tweetstorm, then you'll already know, his 1998 cooperation agreement made that turn of events practically inevitable.
