I try as much as possible to ignore Trump's tweets, but I'll give a quick comment on this one:
Trump is trapped. He could have ordered strikes right away but he didn't, and now the longer he waits the bigger the eventual action has to be. He can't climb down either because that'll be like pulling an Obama and that's the last thing Trump wants to do.
Also with the Russia investigation progressing, Trump needs to appear tough on Putin, and this makes it more important for him to "do something, something big".
The Syrian conflict is complex (understatement) and getting positive results requires long-term strategy, a clear end-game in mind, and skillful power projection towards these. Trump is making it look like a pissing contest.
Assad needs to be punished - and hard - for his frequent usage of chemical weapons (not to mention his numerous non-chemical weapons massacres). But if all this does is strike some empty buildings without an eye for forcing a real political solution, it'll embolden him more.
Trump still doesn't have a real strategy for Syria (a week ago he was all about pulling out). So this tweet makes me uncomfortable; this is a situation that calls for cool heads and masterful strategy. Instead, we have Trump.
