There is a process to derailing a people's movement, in this case, the anti-#CAA_NRC_Protest the Modi-Shah-led Central government did not really expect, or at least not to this extent, and I'd like to put all that I can think of at one place, in this #thread.

Oldest and easiest trick they use. And it's quite easy in a country like India because we are so diverse that sometimes I feel this idea of a "nation" is a farce. Racism, casteism, majority's minority complex, and many other factors enable this.

@swati_gs Hello Ms Swathi, I would like share my experience of being a minority in a minority institute. I studied medicine in Mangaluru, Karnataka. It was a minority institute. In 2004/2005 I stayed in hostel. During holy month of certain community the mess was divided accordingly.
@swati_gs One day at evening dinner one of my Christian friend requested not to have veg food as he felt it was mixed with meat! I was shocked as I said it can't be! He was sure that it was meat and not anything else other than Beef! I had no words to describe my feeling!
@swati_gs Later he showed me the meat in vegetable curry! One of my orthodox friend had already had it and he ran to wash room and started to make himself sick. Later went to warden who behaved as if it's not a big deal! I was angry, tearful and frustrated! No seniors or mess rep came!

2/13 Bear in mind it's gonna take a lot of resources to prepare the NPR in the first place. NPR is one layer and NRC is the layer on top of NPR. CAA is the filter that excludes "foreign" Muslims whilst giving refuge to "foreign" non-Muslims.
