What bugs me about all of the current “big” cryptocurrency projects is that nobody seems to be learning from experience.
For example, EOS is struggling now because they chose to do token/coin voting, and all those tokens are held in exchanges (or holders are apathetic). As some of the Bitcoin Core devs pointed out, this solution has come up and been dismissed many times. Why didn’t EOS know this?
This is the problem with having one zillion projects all re-inventing the wheel. You have one zillion projects actually re-inventing the wheel. It’s time for some team consolidation.
There is either going to be a crypto winter that wipes out all the stupid (and some of the good), or there’s going to be some kind of M&A round that merges projecta together. Maybe both.
