How does the White House panic manifest itself?
Republicans are trying to use the IG report to create a pretext to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Special Counsel Mueller's boss, & wind down the investigation, despite overwhelming success in a short time period. 5/8

Under the guise of oversight, a group of Trump sycophants in the House Republican caucus are making unreasonable & inappropriate document demands of Special Counsel Mueller, DAG Rosenstein & the DOJ.
But they know these documents can't be produced without damaging the probe. 6/8

Because DOJ can't produce the requested documents, these House Republicans, who have leaked previous documents they've been given, are threatening to hold DAG Rosenstein in contempt of Congress, a move designed to remove him from overseeing the probe & install a crony. 7/8
In sum, #Mueller's probe is under heavy fire from multiple directions, all of it disingenuous & designed to obstruct justice.
