"Home" is such moving target as a military spouse, I've been thinking about it all day as I head back to my house from a month spent in my childhood home
I realized I tend to talk about home as wherever I'm *not* at a given time. I'm always low-key wanting to go back home, whether I'm in Chicago or NC

My favorite movie for the last, I guess 3 years, has been Silver Linings Playbook. There’s a scene where Bradley Cooper is meeting with his therapist and notes that whereas his dad has such violent tendencies he’s been banned from the Eagles stadium, he only had one incident.
The therapist, Dr Patel, tells him all it takes is one incident to change a life. I’ve been thinking about this all day as I go back and forth between Dr Ford and BK’s testimonies. All it takes is one incident to change a life.
It’s narcissistic potentially to share why this has been challenging for me, but it has been. My personality is skeptical. So what I don’t know, I don’t know. But I’ve listened to Dr Ford, and I believe her.

There’s some sort of chaos outbreak at HQ, and before he knows it, Taehyung--an untrained, unpaid, unsure intern--is swept into a slick black SUV and sent off to an unknown location.
He looks around, not very optimistic at the sight of the other nervous faces in the car. When the vehicle finally stops, the doors are pulled open by a very gruff-looking man, his face streaked with blood and his arm in a rough-looking sling.

Went to Azraq Refugee Camp in Jordan today. Official population at 53,967, according to @UNHCR as of February 2018. All Syrian #refugees.

In many ways it was not what I expected.
First thing you notice is how remote the location is — some 100 kms east of Amman; 20 kms from Azraq town; 75 kms to Saudi Arabia; 255 kms to Iraq; and 90 kms to the Syrian border — from which its inhabitants fled.
At the same time, the harshness of the setting — a hardscrabble, sprawling 15 square km patch, scratched, etched and stretched out of endless rolling desert.

The perimeter was equally formidable, with security fencing, official patrols, check points and razor wire.
