Thanks to China, the global nuclear fleet is closing in on record capacity, up 12GW / 3% to 363GW, says World Nuclear Industry Status Report 2018…

(Current peak was 368GW in 2006, pre-Fukushima)

…but new construction starts are in decline.

2010: 15 starts (10 in China)
2013: 10 starts
2015: 8
