I just read the @nytimes op-ed and have a few thoughts:
1st: This isn't courage. It's not deserving of an "atta boy!" It's an anti-democratic cabal described as saving democracy. WTF?

2: The president is mad. Crazy. Immoral. Untethered from reality. (To say nothing of supremely corrupt.) There is a constitutional remedy: the 25th amendment.
3. Saying you don't want a constitutional crisis but acting undemocratically IS a constitutional crisis.
4. These people are either cowards, power hungry, or both. That is not leadership. If they want to be adults, address the elephant in the room: the president's unfitness to hold office.
5. Don't even get me started on the spineless, Russian puppets, scared of their own shadows GOP Congress. They aren't even pretending to be adults in the room.
6. Please don't quote McCain while you wringing your hands in private but won't speak out on the record. You're not saving democracy. History will not see you as heroes or saviors. /
