Some people are saying this is a troll and the whole thing is a set up to make some feminist point. We never get to see what happens when these men get pissed, but if she did this on a NYC subway she’d be missing teeth after the first try.
That said, why would a man’s tendency to sit with his legs spread (manspreading) be so offensive to women? Most of these guys aren’t encroaching on anyone’s personal space, some are just sitting by themselves and the train isn’t even full.
The notion that only men are being pricks by sitting this way because they’re selfishly taking up space is bullshit. Particularly when you regularly see women taking up 2-3 seats with purses or shopping bags. So what is it about men spreading their legs?
The answer is simple; women despise men they perceive as Beta displaying themselves in Alpha body language. Manspreading is uniquely male. Women’s subconscious perceive this as men displaying sexual opportunity, but women’s hindbrain filter for Hypergamy.
Nothing is more offensive to a woman’s Hypergamous subconscious than seeing what she knows is a Beta male trying to pass himself off as an Alpha. This is a deep rooted imperative in women’s limbic mind because it’s perceived as an attempt to breed with her on false pretense.
In our evolutionary past nothing would’ve been more detrimental to a woman’s life than to be impregnated by a man who tricked her Hypergamous filters. A man who passed himself off as an Alpha but once he impregnated her proves to be Beta.
Women’s Hypergamous filters would have evolved to be sensitive to false Alphas and any charlatan would deserve the worst kind of punishment for essentially trying to ruin her life by following his reproductive strategy. Fake Alphas would become an existential fear for women.
In basic terms it would be a Beta male’s clever fraud strategy deceiving her own sexual strategy. Because child rearing is a lifelong prospect it is literally an attack on that woman’s life. It is a man presuming to take control of her Hypergamous choice.
