I could not agree with President @realDonaldTrump more.

The Saudi actions in Turkey regarding #JamalKhashoggi were terrible, ill-conceived, and the worst cover-up in the history of cover-ups.
@realDonaldTrump President Trump is also right to work with Congress in a bipartisan fashion to find a tough and appropriate response to this barbaric act.

The world is watching.
@realDonaldTrump We must send a clear message that we will stand for our values. And those who follow the path set by Saudi Arabia will pay a heavy price.

It is also important is to send a signal to our enemies that America is strong once again.

@realDonaldTrump The President will make sure any withdrawal from Syria will be done in a fashion to ensure:

1) ISIS is permanently destroyed.

2) Iran doesn’t fill in the back end, and

3) our Kurdish allies are protected.

I’m very glad to see the President and First Lady visit our troops in Iraq.

It’s always good for morale to have a visit from the Commander in Chief.

We must remember these troops are in Iraq to retake ground from ISIS after Obama’s ill-conceived withdrawal.

The worst thing for morale would be to give back to the enemy territory that was previously taken through blood and sacrifice.
I hope President Trump will not do in Syria what Obama did in Iraq -- which led to the rise of ISIS.

We also must not abandon our Kurdish allies who have fought so hard by our side in Syria.

Our nation is better than this.

Please reevaluate the Syrian withdrawal strategy.
We will hold Turkey accountable for any actions to destroy America’s Kurdish allies who have fought so bravely against ISIS.

If this happens we will, in my view, put Erdogan in the same category as MBS of Saudi Arabia.

Some readers may know that following the 1979 revolution in Iran, high-level officials w/n the IRI perpetrated a campaign of extrajudicial killings of the regime’s political opponents around the globe. As of 2011, that number was at 162 (see iranhrdc.org/no-safe-haven-…)
While there is evidence to show that the IRI is beginning to extend its brutal long arm yet again (the killings of Saeed Karimian in Turkey & Ahmad Mola Nissi in Holland in 2017 providing some examples) up until recently the program was on a "hiatus" of sorts since the late 1990s
