.@tarastrong apparently deleted that public video she shared of her and @RenaSofer being racist towards an ethnic man providing them car service for Uber. I’m glad I saved it just in case that poor man they victimized needs it for any reason.

.@Uber/@Uber_Support has made a terrible decision in suspending their immigrant employee who was attacked with racism, bigotry, and threats by 2 passengers that obviously antagonized the situation. Appalled Uber would let them harass & exploit an immigrant, then punish him for it
What @tarastrong and @RenaSofer did to that Uber driver is exactly why racial disparity remains a centralized focus within America. When two white women can get an immigrant suspended from his job with sensationalized, ultimately unsubstantiated claims— racism in America thrives.

It’s pretty obvious what happened. @tarastrong and @RenaSofer ordered an Uber. They conversed about politics during their ride and likely encouraged their driver’s participation. When they didn’t like his opinion, they attacked him, made false accusations, and threatened his job.
That driver was right to call @tarastrong & @RenaSofer racists. They invited him into their conversation, reduced him to being there “to drive us,” rudely asked him for his papers, & established superiority over him because he wasn’t “born here.” If @Uber fired him over this...😡
George Takei’s father is a Japanese immigrant. Him and his family were at one point placed in an internment camp during World War II. Now he defends racist actresses getting an immigrant Uber driver suspended from his job over their anti-Trump bigotry. Sad
