After a brief blip last week, Trump's approval rating in the weekly Gallup poll is back down to 38%, right where it was the week before.

But, interestingly, his disapproval rating is up to 60%, which he hasn't hit in almost a year.
For comparison, at roughly the same point in their presidencies -- a few weeks after the first midterms -- Obama was at a 47% disapproval rating, GWBush was at 28% disapproval, and Clinton was at 49% disapproval.
Likewise, at the same point in their presidencies, GHWBush was at 33% disapproval, Reagan at 47% disapproval and Carter at 34% disapproval.
Obviously, these numbers aren't predictive -- the two who didn't get re-elected (Carter and GHWBush) had two of the lower disapproval ratings at this point in time, while several who were in the mid-40s (Reagan, Clinton, Obama) went on to win re-election.

Still, 60% ain't good.
