1/ Why do we oppose Electronic Ballot Marking devices with barcodes? Let's break it down. Start with the fact that it's a computer put between a voter and her ballot. That is unnecessary technology that creates opportunity for programming errors/mischief. 
2/ Second, the voter's official vote is a barcode. The barcode is what is scanned and counts. Can you read a barcode? The voter cannot know what actual vote he/she is casting. That is simply unacceptable. Harms the right to vote.
3/ If you can't read your barcoded vote, and know what vote you are casting, you might as well vote blindfolded.
4/ Third, this barcode balloting system relies on the voter to test the voting computer for accuracy. To do so, the voter must verify that the ballot card is complete and accurate.That is impossible unless voter has a photographic memory. See sample ballot here.
5/ I could not memorize the ballot content to determine whether summary card is complete and accurate! That means I can't verify my ballot, therefore, the whole election cannot be audited. One commissioner actually said that if voter can't verify, it's the voter's problem!"
6/ In BMD balloting, the reliability of the election falls apart if the voter fails to verify the machine accuracy! The requirement that a voter test the voting machine for accuracy while voting is an unacceptable burden on the voter!
7/Fourth, assuming that all voters have photographic memories and time to test their ballot cards, for the system to be reliable, there must be through and robust statically valid audits before the election can be certified. Vast majority of states do not have such audits.
8/ ONLY if ALL these impossible steps are completed can the barcode balloting system be relied on to produce accurate election results. Why is voting being made so complex?? (and impossible)
9/ This barcode balloting system costs 4X to 5X the cost of an optical scan system for hand marked ballots. Voting is simple for voters. Recounts simple, Audits are less complex, Voters don't have to test the voting system.
10/ Why are election officials and some politicians and GA SOS pushing this ridiculous voting scheme on GA voters?

12/ Please remember who was first to lead this fight and is still leading the fight against barcode balloting. The first to sue Kemp over DREs. The first to sue Kemp over rejecting absentee ballots illegally, and suing to dig into the 100,000 missing votes. It's @CoalitionGoodGv.
