In 2005, libertarians were (understandably) outraged by Kelo v. New London for allowing broad govt takings.
2008-16, libertarians warned that Obama abused executive power.
2018: Child cages?

I think people are overrating the revelation that Manafort shared polling data with Russians...
But underrating the revelation that Manafort was working on "Ukraine peace plan" (i.e., sanctions relief) and links to Veselnitskaya. 1/
2/ Here's a version of the Manafort filing highlights slip-ups. We learn that Mueller has evidence that
A) Manafort shared polling data with Kilimnik (Russian agent)
B) Manafort discussed "Ukraine peace plan" with Kilimnik
*while* he was campaign manager.

3/ Manafort sharing polling data with Kilimnik (and thus with Deripaska) in spring/summer 2016 doesn't look good, but by itself, I don't think it moves the needle much. Seems plausible that Manafort was just showing off his own usefulness by showing Trump had a chance to win.

This is not a fact check. It's a bad take, @AP @AP_Politics, a false check.
When two sides hit a budget impasse, they pass continuing resolutions to continue status quo as negotiations continue.
Shutdowns happen since 1995 only when one side refuses CRs to change status quo...
2/ In 1995, Gingrich & Dole refused to pass a status quo continuing resolution. Their CR included Medicare premium increases, environmental deregulation & a balanced budget requirement.
Clinton held out for status quo and negotiation.
Conclusion: GOP caused shutdowns for 5 weeks.
3/ The 2013 shutdown was similar: Obama, McConnell, and Boehner had a deal for the basic status quo with some cutts, but Sen @tedcruz and the tea party House members blew up that deal in order to defunding the ACA.
Conclusion: the GOP caused a shutdown for two weeks.

3/ Full indictment here, which alleges that Veselnitskaya worked closely with "a senior Russian prosecutor" in Prevezon investigation, but "concealed [that fact] from the Court," and thus "obstructed the civil proceeding."

#FDR is arguably one of the most 'successful' #US Presidents. Some would argue that on the basis of his numerous social policies such as 'the New Deal'. Others, however, would argue that his role during the second world war was more prevalent to his success & everlasting legacy.

John Russell Fearn was a prolific pulp writer. Known in the UK for his western and detective novels, he was also the first British writer to really break into the American sci-fi pulp market during the pre-war era.
But after the war Fearn struggled to sell stories to the American sci-fi magazine market (even with the help of Frederik Pohl as an agent) and instead concentrated on the UK. He still wrote science fiction the Toronto Star Weekly, but it didn't pay much.

1) Information is power, especially when compromising information is held over the heads of politicians and officials. These kind are targeted with bribes, and then extorted for having accepted bribes. In this manner they become commodities that are bought and sold by evil men.
2) Former President Obama abused the power of the government resources at his disposal because it was within his power to do so. As a radicalized hater of America unencumbered by conscience, he was strategically hostile to both the Citizen and the Citizen’s Constitution.
3) President Obama weaponized government because he could. He was aligned with 90% of the American press, 90% of the the American oligarchs, and he had capped the intelligence agencies and federal law enforcement agencies with heads that were 100% loyal to him and his treason.
