In case you thought @realdonaldtrump's border security address tonight has nothing to do with his 2020 re-election, note that Trump is raising money for his "Official Secure the Border Fund" — just a fancy name for his campaign's joint fundraising committee with the RNC.

Plenty of e-commerce outfits that aren't affiliated with the Trump campaign are also angling for a $$ cut of tonight's immigration address action.

The @DCCC has now entered tonight’s fundraising fray, decrying how Trump just “sent donors a disgusting email urging them to flood him with cash before his big shutdown speech tonight.”

Then the Democrats ask their donors to flood the @DCCC with cash.

.@HillaryClinton's nonprofit organization, @OnwardTogether, has also gotten in on the Trump address fundraising act — but with a twist. Money you donate, Clinton says, will benefit any of 10 groups "doing critical work to protect kids and families at the border."

Now billionaire megadonor / possible Democratic presidential candidate @TomSteyer's @Need2Impeach committee is fundraising off Trump's address. Because, of course.

Committee to Defend the President, a pro-Trump super PAC, is out of the gate post-Trump address raising money tonight:

The @NRSC — the campaign arm of U.S. Senate Republicans — is also in wall-centric fundraising mode post-Trump address.

MONEY, MONEY: Post-speech, Trump's 2020 re-election campaign is asking supporters to "make a special contribution of $5 by 11:59 PM EST to our Official Secure the Border Fund to get on the FINAL list we send President Trump."

Not to be outdone, @TheDemocrats' DNC Chairman @TomPerez is also begging for cash, post-Trump border security address: "Can I count on you to rush a $3 donation to the DNC to help build the infrastructure necessary to defeat Trump and his Republicans in 2020?"

Tonight, Trump performed, now he’s passing the hat — via text message.
