1) the rise of hateful Linda Sarsour first, then the draping of American flags as “hijab,” giving of a platform to CAIR’s anti-Semitic Zahra Billoo to speak at the 2017 march and now the naming of a CAIR leader to the steering committee of Women’s March...

2) it’s all emblematic of the unholy alliance between some “liberals” and the Muslim religious right. While feminists reject the purity culture of Christians, they appropriate & celebrate the purity culture of Muslims.

3) while women & girls are dying to feel the wind in their hair, the Muslim women they use for their “intersectional feminism” actually wear the propaganda symbol of a purity culture that equates the “hijab” as “modesty,” “purity” and Allah’s command

4) let’s not forget the anti-Semitism problem of @womensmarch. They elevate a woman who is leader of an org built on the premise of destroying the state of Israel. Here is other CAIR leader Zahra Billoo joining the anti-Israel hymn “from the river to the sea.”

5) CAIR is the symbol of anti-feminism with the back rows for women in prayer, the refusal of women as imams to men, the demeaning of women who dare to say they are @freefromhijab and headscarves are not a requirement in Islam. #freefromhijab

6) @womensmarch sure has an intersection here — with sexism, anti-Semitism and alas rape culture which makes a woman & even little girls responsible for controlling men’s “temptations” — but the intersection is NOT with feminism. 🙏🏼
