This is a really important bubble-burster by John Curtice @whatukthinks - there is SO much dodgy polling around designed to support so-called People's Vote, asking questions designed to get answers you want. Don't be fooled. /1

@whatukthinks It's the kind of tosh that all my Guardian reading friends keep quoting at me as "fact" - boosted by campaigning masquerading as analysis like this from Peter Kellner who has cred as former Pres of @YouGov but doubles as campaigner for InFacts. Cheeky /2

@whatukthinks @YouGov I think MPs instinctively know, from their constituency work that the nation isn't clamouring for a second vote - as Curtice concludes.

@whatukthinks is one of the few honest brokers in the guns-for-hire polling business. I basically stick with him and ignore the noise. /ENDS
