What @HowardSchultz means is, he wants to run on neoliberalism without the attacks on blacks, gays, and women the GOP sells to voters.
He missed the point: the GOP *has* to appeal to racists, sexists and homophobes TO DISTRACT FROM THE NEOLIBERALISM BECAUSE THEIR BASE HATES IT.

The only way the GOP makes neoliberalism palatable is by selling it in terms of all the Black people, Hispanics, and women that our current government is enforcing the rights of.
