This article, and especially the headline, is completely wrong. And dangerously so.

According to the police, the video simply shows these guys walking in the area. The police also have not labeled suspects, but persons of interests (which could easily mean potential witnesses).
If those guys are just potential witnesses and some harm comes to them from this false reporting from NYDN, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Compare the article and headline to the actual statement on which it is based:

Btw police specifically differentiate between persons of interest and suspects for this very reason.
Great update. Original tweet still not deleted. They changed the headline, but still falsely label the individuals "suspects" in the first sentence.
