Updated this thread with some circumstantial support for this idea.

I believe this is what the Northam shiny object was meant to distract from.
So, the yearbook editor and every other doctor in that yearbook should be tracked down (using state medical boards where they now practice should enquire if they were in that photo to get them under oath)...
So, IMO, the Northam story should take the back burner for a day or two to THIS...

Focus on what Trump wants to keep out of the news cycle.
Why could it be significant that a story about thousands of children missing at the hands of the Trump administration drops 3 days before @MichaelCohen212 was supposed to testify in front of the @OversightDems?

So, this is the difficulty I'm having here: I hear blackface and recall what I see below - someone painting themselves black, except the eyes and an exaggerated mouth, in a caricature of 'black.'

Note use of the word 'caricature,' typically attendant with stereotypes 1/
aimed to cast the concept of 'black' as 'other.'

Clearly, traditional blackface is dehumanizing and unacceptable, under any circumstance.

Similarly "Black Katrina victim", "Black Singer", "Black whatever stereotype you want to add here" - I find those equally abhorrent 2/
And please, don't take what follows to construe support for everyone who darkens their face to depict 'blackness' - it's not meant as such.

And I don't mean to proclaim that something is right or wrong independently - it's not up to me - if something causes pain to anyone 3/

It always rubbed me the wrong way that WSI Corporation in Andover, Mass (now Weather Company) was evacuated due to the threat from the explosions on a night with an incoming hurricane - they provide data, analysis + support to NOAA/NHC, if I recall correctly...

Found something @NewsGuardRating might want to look at - when searching for info on an untrustworthy site, your extension a link to another fact-checking site's discussion of the subject of interest shows the source is trusted...
some users might perceive that this means the site of interest gets a trustworthy rating - I had to think about it for a minute, 'cause it didn't seem right.
Sort of affordance should be added to iconography for known review sites to both the reviewer and the reviewed... or to more clearly indicate the locus of trust is the reviewing site, not the individual link

In November 2017 I had an idea to produce a masterclass series that would be watched for free by all and paid for by brands that care about educating and enriching people’s lives. I didn’t know any brand that wanted to come on, I wasn’t even looking.
I just knew that if I concentrated on doing a world standard job, the work would speak for itself.

Listen, that was a bit Naive.

January 2018, I went on a limb and bought equipment for shoot: Cameras, lights, etc. I was ready but only two instructors had agreed to do it.
