Unfortunately, majority of elderly parents are not on Twitter. Those who read it can show it to their parents.

1. Stop forcing your children into getting married to whom u like. You are not the ones who will live with these choices. The best u can do is to advice & pray 4 them

2. If your child is uncomfortable with someone he or she is dating don't try 2 manage their fears by saying nobody is perfect. As much as no one is perfect there are some relationships that is a No for anyone. Try & find out what d problem is & try 2 emphasise with their reasons.

3. Parents, don't collect gifts from a man or woman that your child is not interested in or that he or she has not even introduced to you as someone to settle down with. Manage your greed. Money is good but there are some that brings sorrow more than happiness. Be guided

4. Parents, don't disown your child because he or she doesn't want to agree with your choice of a life partner. Your child is your child & you can't replace your child with another. Love them despite the fact they don't agree with your choice. Don't live in regrets later in life

5. Parents, stop using your children as collateral for business agreement with friends or to settle political positions. The best of business has gone sour and this will most likely affect your child's marriage. Marriage and business relationships are two different things.

6. Children, don't allow anyone to force you to marry anyone you don't want. Marriage is a life time commitment and no one will live with you to suffer the pain if you make the wrong choice. Watch and pray before you make that decision. Be the best you can be in someone's life.

7. There's no perfect person but be perfectly honest with yourself & with others. Work on your weak areas & continue to work on yourself. It is a life time process. Don't belittle yourself because you want to get married. You are a queen or a king and you should expect the best.

8. Men/Women, never never accept a toxic relationship. Don't go ahead to marry someone who bashes you at the slightest argument or someone who lashes out at you with words at every discussion. Don't allow anyone to take away your self confidence. You are d best God has created.

9. Enjoy your singleness while waiting for the king or queen who will appreciate, love and sacrifice for u. Find time to enjoy your life with the fear of God in your mind. You are wonderfully and beautifully created by God and you will fulfil all God's plans for you.

10. Lastly, stop looking for affirmation from social media. Too many ladies look for social media commentators to affirm them. When I see ladies posting their pictures & asking people stupid questions I cringe. You are beautiful so stop making yourselves look cheap to men. Love u

11. I have to come back. Parents,. stop running from pastor to woli to Afa to prophet with ur children's names to check if someone or d other is their correct spouse. Stop being spiritually lazy. Go on ur knees & speak to God about ur children. Don't use ur own hand to do urself.

12. Even if the person they brought home today does not look like it they have years to improve on themselves and become what God wants them to be. Stop using wealth to judge a man or family background to judge a woman. We all have a past that God is ready to repair.

I heard some mothers ask their sons to impregnate their girlfriends before they can fix d wedding date. Mum, u are not God to determine when a girl will get pregnant. Getting pregnant does not guarantee a good marriage. My lovely girl, never agree to this. U can be used & dumped

Allow ur children to av d type of wedding they desire. It is not about you but about them. Give them room to have their friends around them on their special day. If they want a small crowd allow them & don't impose your crowd on them. Invite ur own friends to ur wedding anniv.
