A lot of people told me to watch Russian Dolls on Netflix. Having done so, I'm now convinced that all of the acclaim for this awful, boring show starring the most annoying lead character in television history must be some kind of practical joke.
She's doing some kind of weird Joe Pesci impression the entire time. Her character is not only completely false and contrived but also obnoxious. The rest of the show surrounding her isn't much better.
And I say this as a dedicated fan of the "same day keeps repeating over and over" genre

Last thing I'll say on the Michael Jackson issue. Any argument, however strained and absurd, that MJ may have slept with little boys innocently, is utterly destroyed by the fact that he kept doing it for years even after being multiply accused of sex abuse.
Even if I were to buy the argument that he did it the first time totally innocently (which I don't), that doesn't explain why he kept on sleeping with little boys for years after being told that it is inappropriate and makes him look like a pedophile.
In conclusion, don't be an idiot about this. The dude was a child raping freak. End of story.

The most fascinating thing about honey bees is that scouts will leave the hive, travel up to two miles to find flowers, and then come back and communicate the coordinates of the flowers by performing an elaborate dance for the other bees. Absolutely mind blowing.
I just thought you guys would like to know that fact about bees.
The bee society is also very progressive in its gender dynamics. Women do everything while the men are used for mating purposes only. Then they are killed or exiled when resources run low. This is the system that feminists wish to establish in our own society.

At some point we stopped asking a very fundamental philosophical question: What is the government and what is it supposed to do? Our Founders thought the government’s job was to protect and ensure liberty. People today seem to think it’s job is to protect comfort and lifestyle
If you hold the latter view, something like a mandated paid family leave program makes sense. It would make our lives easier, so the government should give it to us.
But if you hold the former view, you may agree that paid family leave is nice even while maintaining that the government has no business being involved in the issue in any way, shape, or form.

I'm about to start watching Brett Kavanaugh's Congressional testimony, and I'll say that—having watched Dr. Ford's testimony—I expect what I'm about to watch will be the most shameful and offensive few hours of television I've seen in the past few years. Hope he proves me wrong.
2/ Holy *crap* he's visibly angry. Didn't see such an obviously fake performance coming. But here it is, just seconds in.
3/ The anger is bullsh*t because there are *so many things* he could've done to help clear his name over the last two weeks. He did *literally none of them* and he *chose* not to. Most notably, he wouldn't ask for other witnesses to appear before Congress or an FBI investigation.
