With 12 days to go, MPs should be wargaming every possible scenario, treating Theresa May as an actively hostile opponent deliberately intent on engineering a no-deal Brexit. Even if that's not true of her, it's certainly true of some in the ERG. (No-deal remains the DEFAULT!)
So you have to get into the mindset of "Is my plan for the next few days watertight? Is it airtight? Is there any conceivable way whatsoever that whatever I want to do could be ignored, overturned, or manoeuvred around?"
For instance, if you're planning to attach an amendment to MV3 to bring about a second referendum, what happens if:-
A) MV3 isn't held at all
B) The amendment passes, but is ignored
C) The amendment passes, but you get a referendum with options that don't match what you expected.
D) The amendment fails.
What's the backup plan to the backup plan? And what's the backup plan to that?

What arcane trickery is buried in the musty depths of Erskine May? How could it be used to block what you're trying to achieve?
Does your plan rely on an Article 50 extension? What happens if it's not granted? What happens if one is granted, but not of the length you needed? How do the upcoming European elections throw a spanner into your plan? etc. etc.
If possible, perhaps you could rope in colleagues to act as antagonists. Get them to try and deliberately thwart your plan, then fix the holes, then iterate again and again.
Possibly there's no perfect answer, I don't know. But one thing's for sure: there's no time left for a series of ranging shots. Whatever you do is going to have to strike the target straight and true, and score a bullseye on the very first attempt. Good luck!
