LAST thing: Board and commission appointments. Carr going over the tie-breaking process bc we have 8 council members.
If there is an impasse, pause, have a discussion and see if it can be resolved. If not, put all the impasses off to the end and then work them out at the end, but go through and continue to vote. Appoint anybody that gets 5 votes.
If they can't be resolved, they flip a coin. Not kidding.
Appointments have to be made in March, per charter.
Arts Commission: 5 applicants for one 5-yr term
Morzel nominates Ginger (Virginia) Zukowski
Jones nominates Bruce Borowsky

First vote is a tie between Bruce and Ginger.
That's being tabled to the end.
Beverages Licensing Authority. 2 applicants, but only Michael Absalom interviewed publicly. So he is the unanimous pick.
