Please understand something. Trump’s agenda isn’t some cruel accident. He’s not the one doing this. Do you think Trump knows enough about anything to select a single appointment he’s made?

This has been a focused, deliberate, and orchestrated agenda. Trump has been their ultimate opportunity to seize power and burn it all down. Dismantling checks and balances, neutering departments and agencies, purging career talent.
Their goal is the demolition. It’s not a bug; it’s the main event.meanwhile, pack the courts so putting it back together again takes a generation or more.

Otherwise intelligent people need to stop reporting on this from the belief that Trump appointments are normal cronyism or regular incompetence being assigned to the wrong job.
They are exactly the right people for the job they’ve been selected to do — destroy.

There are no grown ups in the room looking out for us. They’re either part of the burn it all down faction or they hate liberals and inclusion far, far more than they fear demolition.
Make no mistake, this isn’t sudden. It wouldn’t have been possible if a significant part of the population hadn’t been drip fed FOX, etc propaganda and bile against the federal government.
That such propaganda is laced and highlighted with white supremacy is also not a mistake. Many of those mouth breathers who chant at Trump rallies only believe it has to be burned down because it’s been tainted by the black man those liberals let be president.
And if you don’t get that, maybe sit and think a minute about the imagery “drain the swamp” is intended to conjure in relation to racism and swimming pools in America’s not too distant past.
They want to break everything so bad we cannot fix it. And, assuming we do wrench the reins from them, as we must, they’re going to make rebuilding as hard as possible. Just the sheer talent and experience we’ve lost across the board is depressing.
This is why I cannot even consider voting for someone who is promising unicorns or preaching touchy-feely nonsense about poor, misunderstood “rural” Americans.

But, for the love of Hera, we need more people in the media to wake up and realize the cruelty is the point — the dismantling is the goal.
