b) Did not confirm to Ali Watkins that he was "Male-1" from the 2015 Russian spy case

b) AG Holder and USA-SDNY Bharara submitted "misleading testimony" in the 2015 Russian spy case

Q: What part of the January 2015 indictment that Holder and Bharara had submitted against the Russian spies could Carter possibly be referring to as potentially being misleading?

N.B. Carter says the submitted testimony was "misleading", not inaccurate.

Q: Can @carterwpage be "a witness" to the January 2015 Russian spy case, but not be the true "Male-1" as described on page 12 in the January 2015 indictment against the Russian spy ring?

Can these two ideas exist at the time, and not be in conflict?

Leaning towards the idea that the FBI had in fact identified Carter Page as "Male-1" in the October 2016 FISA warrant.

I've asked this question before, but:

What was the point of having Carter Page "confirm" in April 2017 that he was Male-1 from the 2015 Russian spy case?

The FBI had already confirmed that Carter was "Male-1" before submitting his surveillance warrant app to FISC in October 2016, right?

So why the need to get it double confirmed through BuzzFeed?

They already have their FISA on the guy.....why risk the operation by going public?
