1 / Why I cannot and will not condone anyone prioritizing the fight against post-modernists over the defense of science and higher education itself against the RW (like @gadsaad, @jordanbpeterson, @CHSommers and others). Read this:

2/ Bolsonaro's administration, populated by textbook fascists (although the country is not technically fascist, it is still a democracy) and rabid science deniers will end fellowships, scholarships and grants in July.

3/ If you still think the a few post-modern people with confused methodology are a higher threat to science and higher education than the radical right wing, then you probably have NO idea what it took for us, in the periphery, to carve a space for science in our societies.

4/ It is pathetic to see you prioritizing your efforts to ridicule the left while Civilization is seriously threatened. It's called "throwing the baby out with the bathwater" or being absolutely short-sighted.

5/ It is an insult to all of us who have committed to defending science and its role in the improvement of people's lives, some of us paying a very high price for our choice.

6/ There is no nice way to put it: you are consciously or not helping the far-right agenda concerning everything by engaging in hair-splitting drama-queen cries against the dangers of the left.

7/ Of course there are problems in the left! Part of our problems is preventing them from breaking the fragile consensus over a democratic front. Do you think this can be accomplished by alienating them? This is ignoring a whole are of scholarship in political science.
