Let’s say I have #measles and don’t have symptoms yet. If I decide to go shopping while infectious, I will spread that to 9 out of 10 babies, cancer patients, pregnant women, and unvaccinated ppl within breathing room of me. How do you notify those people?
If I have #measles and expose the public do you review security tapes to try to ID people? Do you put out a press release? Who answers their panicked calls for info? Who investigates them all? Could you miss work for 21 days because you need to be quarantined?
If I have #measles and expose the public and infect a pregnant woman who is going to deliver a baby but might be infectious how do you handle that? Deliver in isolation? Is the baby at risk? What if there’s an emergency? What If you just finished fighting cancer?
If I have #measles because I chose not to #vaccinate because I don’t listen to doctors and #science and expose your 5month old is that ok? He can’t go to daycare for 21 days now. Hope that’s ok, too. You might not be able to work. Hope you don’t need that income.
If I have #measles and come to your baby shower and expose all of your friends who aren’t #vaccinated and they have their babies while they are infectious is that ok? Was that worth the risk? #VaccinesDontCauseAutism but measles can cause death. Right choice?
Let’s say I have #measles and you, healthcare worker, are not vaccinated (which is astonishing but you’re out there). If you are even REMOTELY exposed to me, you get FURLOUGHED and possibly quarantined for 21 days. You ok with that? Can you pay your rent? Your bills? No big deal?
