A senior CIA official is said to be cooperating with the probe into misconduct by the Brennan CIA regarding spying on the Trump Campaign during the 2016 election cycle. Look for some more serious implications to come out of the OIG, Huber, and Barr investigations.
Barr as AG has authority over these current investigations but also is said to be looking into matter based off evidence supplied by the Mueller Investigation. John Brennan was actively undermining then president-elect Trump after the stunning election victory.
Brennan was also using individuals outside the CIA and outside the US intelligence community to find dirt on Trump during the campaign and after his election. Brennan is one of the key individuals in this lunacy.
Anybody remember him nearly choking to death when Trey Gowdy asked him about any US Ambassador requesting unmasking of Americans? Brennan nearly passed out trying to respond.
Sally Yates may want to get a good lawyer because she is going to have a lot to answer for herself relating to her access to intelligence information outside the DOJ that likely came from Brennan's CIA.
This was used against Flynn for doing what he was supposed to do, represent the incoming administration. Claiming Flynn was compromised by the Russians was ridiculous and Yates knew it.
The former US Ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, also will likely be getting some serious heat as numerous requests for unmasking Americans came from her when she had very little, if any reason, to be making such requests.
Look for some other people to get some serious scrutiny as well. The question is whether or not the issue is seriously investigated and if they actually prosecute anyone. Many of these people will be in a circular firing squad blame game.
Some will blame other people in other agencies and others will place the blame on subordinates. I am wagering that Brennan will rat out subordinates as having supplied him with bad information since he already made a public statement to that effect.
He'll claim that he was just overseeing what they were producing from their sources (all of which were bad). The politicization of the intelligence apparatus of the US is very dangerous.
The CIA has made many mistakes in its history, but allowing Obama Administration officials to corrupt it to use against our own citizens, to include spying on Congress is an outrage.
How much Obama knew is going to be rising in questioning of individuals. Democrats are trying to screen former administration officials from scrutiny by these Trump investigations & over disbelief from the Mueller investigation not recommending any charges against the president.
