Great catch by @mrspanstreppon of photos of Parscale meeting Adrian Thiess & Peter Imre in March. Imre is a wealthy businessman, son-in-law of Romanian foreign minister Teodor Melescanu & was Cambridge Analytica parent company SCL Group's Romanian rep
Most Cambridge Analytica companies have closed, others are active (Emerdata, SCL Insight, Cambridge Analytica Holdings) & ex employees have set up new cos (Data Propria, Auspex) - it's very curious Parscale just met w/Peter Imre former head of SCL Romania
A March 2017 FARA filing disclosed that SCL Social had a 3 month $60K contract with consultant Charles Andreae of Andreae & Associates for US govt relations, communications & PR work related to anti-corruption efforts in Romania
While WaPo story notes impropriety of Parscale's paid speech in Romania - Parscale worked closely w/Cambridge Analytica before & continues w/Data Propria created by ex CA employees - is more afoot with Parscale's March visit to Romania than just a speech?

1.Using its magic wand that calculates potential output growth with heroic precision, IMF suggests that the Romanian economy is overheating since 2017. As a consequence, inflation is rising.
2. If it hadn’t made elementary ‘spreadsheet errors’ a la Reinhart and Rogoff, IMF output gap numbers should have suggested that Romania has been overheating since 2015 (ups but where is inflation?)
