OK, time to say a few words about the insanity in Georgia, Alabama and Ohio … I don’t usually tee off on issues - Its always better to listen first and amplify others’ voices. So, my feed is usually full of baseball, bad puns, fake exit polls and unrelated nonsense.

These attacks on abortion rights are a chilling power grab. For years the right flooded states with cash, rigged judicial appointments, and crafted a legal strategy. All to yank away the most basic constitutional and human rights and make half the country second class citizens.

So many times, I’ve seen focus groups with voters who say talking about abortion is all politics; that the right to choose would never be in real danger and they'd never have a majority of people on their side. Well guess what....

They may not need a majority. They’ve got a strategy and a real chance to succeed with a handful of legislators, and a few judges. That would change our constitution, our country and our society in deep and fundamental ways. tt could take a generation to win back what we have now

One thing is for sure, at this point, they won’t listen, won’t reason and won’t stop until we stop them together.

I see a lot of people saying that men should tweet about this.... Here’s a better idea, guys....

Put down the phone and go talk to somebody. Anybody. Neighbor, dog park, coffee shop, barstool, baseball game, whatever. Just tell one other human, in your own words, it bothers you a few states are trying to take away the basic right of people to make their own medical decisions

Some people won’t agree, some won’t care… but some will. Because to somebody, you are important. What you say matters. And that’s how you start the change.
