Yesterday, Mayor de Blasio estimated Trump would owe $2.1M/year if his buildings didn't get greener by 2030.

Note: I chose to filter for >5K metric tons because at least three Trump buildings fit that description in 2016.

This chart, however, helps visualize where some of the biggest reported CO2-emitters stand in Manhattan (borough filter).
This chart, however, helps visualize where some of the biggest reported CO2-emitters stand in Manhattan (borough filter).
As the map should illustrate, Trump buildings emitted a lot of greenhouse gases in 2016, but other buildings produced much more, according to the data. I'm reaching out to some of the largest out there for comment. To be continued.
