1/Lessons from an unexpected sales explosion:

This weekend we had a client that was projecting to do $25k/day in revenue for their Memorial Day Sale promotion. We had built the media map with room for scale if we were hitting a 3.5x ROAS.
2/Saturday morning we woke up to the account sitting at 5.7x realizing very quickly that we significantly underestimated the opportunity. But that's where the fun starts:

6 of us jumped on slack and went to work!
3/1. We immediately opened up more campaigns (broader targeting 10% LAL, Broad interest) using our best performing creative. (In smash moments you want more pipelines of spend not just more budget in existing).
4/2. We started reformatting the best creative into IG story 15 second vids so we can milk more out of that placement with specific creative.
5/3. We cracked open the adwords account and adjusted the volume on branded and categorical search (shopping was POPPING) as the increased traffic from FB will overflow to search.
6/4. We mapped inventory to determine the time each of our top sellers was going to run out and started building backup creative for the units that we're going to run out of stock.
7/5. We took on customer service load related to the growing number of comments related to the constantly in flux inventory.
End Result: We took a plan of $75k in revenue and turned it into $281k in sales all above our target ROAS. All while the client and their internal team were at the beach.
