At last, @realDonaldTrump asserts executive privilege. Until now, not one Republican chairman would contest flagrantly phony “non-assertion assertions” of executive privilege. They all just rolled over, every time.
Now, at last, Trump has to assert and defend executive privilege, follow the rules, and answer ultimately in court.
After the assertion, the House Oversight Committee postponed a vote to recommend that the House hold two cabinet secretaries in contempt over the matter.
