The last thing we wanted was for parliament to be kept in over the summer. They would have voted for Brexit just to go on holiday, you know it.
As it is, the dates are perfect. New Tory leader expected on Monday 22nd July.
At most they will survive a confidence vote on Tuesday, finish making their gov. appointments, junior level on Wednesday, and break for the summer on Thursday.
There will be no Brexit vote that week.

And then, children, the real fun starts. Because the new Tory leader has to present a Queen's speech in September.
And that's when we get a general election.
And that's when we get a general election.
So either we get an immediate general election when the new Tory leader loses their first confidence vote.
Or we get a general election in October when they can't get a Queen's speech through parliament.
Or we get a general election in October when they can't get a Queen's speech through parliament.
And whether the election comes in September or October, it will come before we have left the European Union, and at least one party during that election will have a manifesto for remain.
Maybe even all of them by then.
