People can watch a video of Chicago cops dragging a child down stairs, tasing & stomping on her, and say, “we need to see what led up to that before we render judgment” but Andy Ngo, we’re good with that little excerpt, thanks. buzzfeednews.com/article/skbaer…
Literally every time there is a video of horrific police violence, that is the universal refrain from the right.

And not just the right, from liberal media - the same media who are attacking the "assault" against Ngo without having context.
When I posted a video recently of police surrounding William Ewell in Hawthorne California at gunpoint that went viral, I was contacted by a number of media outlets. Journalists from many that would be considered left-leaning said it was an "except" without context.
Most liberal media who are posting about this, even if they mention that he is a right-wing journalist, are not adding the background that it was just revealed that Quillette completely invented a "study" about journalists who supposedly follow Antifa Twitter accounts.
This is amazing publicity for Ngo and Quillette. Comment on that. Provide context. I am so sick of liberal media essentially carrying water for right wing pundits like Tucker Carlson, who by the way is with Donald Trump right now.
Maybe Tucker Carlson accompanying Donald Trump to the DMZ is way more newsworthy than any of this. Journalists talk about the damage Trump is doing to the press, but choose to tweet about a skirmish in Portland rather than report that fact. OK.
PS. Here is detail of the case of the child brutally assaulted by CPD, which I cited to contrast what is happening with Andy Ngo. The video was released in that case months ago, & you can see the comments under the original tweet of the sort I mentioned.
PPS. In third tweet I say "except." The word should be "excerpt."
