I did find fewer career DOJ attorney names listed in recent filings for Maryland cases after President Trump's July 3 tweets.

2. In short, DOJ attorneys are saying that while #CitizenshipQuestion is still blocked from #2020Census, Trump admin is not ready to give up yet. As far as we know according to DOJ/Commerce statements earlier this week, printing without Q still happening

3. Remember DOJ was only expected to tell Judge Hazel today whether Trump admin is stopping its efforts to add #CitizenshipQuestion. Since it's not, Hazel is now preparing to move ahead with reconsidering discrimination & conspiracy allegations in previously filed lawsuits.

Trump has refused to turn over his tax returns but hasn't invoked executive privilege. Treasury Secretary Mnuchin has instead denied the returns by arguing there is no legislative basis for requesting them.

But the IRS memo says disclosure “is mandatory."
The IRS memo says the law “does not allow the [Treasury] Secretary to exercise discretion in disclosing the information provided the statutory conditions are met,” and directly rejects the reason that Mnuchin has cited for withholding Trump's tax returns.
