A comment made by the media on the #4thofJuly has been bothering me off and on for the last several days. They said that Trump's speech was 8th grade history. Notice they didn't say it was wrong. They instead inferred that it was missing nuances.
In other words, what they are really saying is that the speech was missing the negative spin/propaganda that kids learn from the left in high school and college about America. Anyone can sit and nitpick something to make even the best thing seem bad.
Trump's speech celebrated America and it's achievements/contributions. To the fake media & left, this world view must be tempered by listing all the "bad" things the USA has done. Their " US history" is as one sided as any, except it's directed to the negative.
It's a shitty worldview but that's the left for you. I'll take Trump's positive message over the haters negative nitpicking any day.
