FRIENDS!

Founders and CEOs! Designers and DesignOps practitioners! VPs and Leaders!

I’ve just published the first in a series of group articles on getting your business right the first time:
mynameisjoshsilverman.com/writing/gettin…
I’ve learned how #DesignOps helps small, medium, and large design teams. So much of what ops does at scale is more damage control – uninstalling programs and cleaning them up before reinstalling them.

There is a better way. You can get it right the first time.
The first installment in this series features ideas on having Just Enough Process*, by the incomparable @Michelephant: “simplifying how work gets done can help foster transparency, focus, and ownership.”

*not a dirty word
We hear from the super smart and super chill @danmall on Team Structure, citing science with regard to self-organizing, outcome-driven, autonomous teams.

Spoiler alert: leadership is not prescriptive.
And the ever-inspiring @TatianaTMac leads us through principles for “dismantling oppressive systems and building inclusive ones” with “radical kindness, thoughtful communication, and curiosity.”

Can I get an AMEN up in here!
Many thanks to contributors for their tremendously valuable time.

Stay tuned for the second edition.✌🏻
