Your recently released Clinical Establishments guidelines 2019 indicate that 'mentally disabled' will need a guardian for informed consent!

First off why are you equating disabled people with minors?

Here’s a short EU #dataprotection thread relating to some of the work I‘ve been doing on #researchethics. The #GDPR is broadly a very good thing but it’s starting to look like a bit of a car crash for established ethical standards in research (1)
Why? A combination of highly effective market research lobbying for business as usual together with wider demands to “repurpose” data for “research” pushed EU negotiators into lowering the data protection bar for “research” activities across the board (2)
Fine you might say, research is very important and we shouldn’t overregulate. But what it means in practice is that once someone has your data, it is now much fairer game for “research” purposes (3)

#Breaking - Some defense sources report #Indian air strikes across the Line of Control in Muzafarabad, #Pakistan. Indian air force briefing expected later today. Pakistan said Indian jets dropped their payloads & "fled". More confirmation of details needed.
There are also reports of dual, air and ground Indian strikes in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. No official word yet. Waiting for updates. Stay tuned.
There are also reports that 2 Pakistani JF-17s fighter jets have been shot down.

The Great Indian Bustard is endemic to India.

The amazing fact is that it was to become our national bird but it was denied the honour for the worry that its name might be misspelt! Bastard 😒😒

But this is not it. Infact the National bird title is the least of it. India has been pretty hostile to this majestic bird.
The bird has vanished from nearly 95% of its historical range.
Less than 150 remain today.

It may not sound like a big deal.

But even if you learn to be emotionally detached from the constant barrage of criticism for doing benign, everyday things as a black woman?

You still have to navigate it.
Correct people.
Dedicate energy to ignoring them.
It's stressful.
And if you're #disabled? You need those energy reserves to LITERALLY be alive. Stress makes me sicker & you can't avoid it in life but you can try to minimize it.
You don't realize how much energy you expend just to stay alive, walk around, fix breakfast, take a shower, until you're sick. Even with the flu. And it feels like a herculean effort to sit up in bed and breathe.

Every day I go through that.

Discloses the following problems.

1. Premani pension transferred to someone else. Noone was aware until his investigation happened. Because the other person's aadhaar was linked to Premani's Aadhaar. (The NPCI mapping problem, which is now quite famous.) ...
