Neoliberals are obsessed with using tax dollars and economic incentives to create better outcomes across every scope of life except the one that matters most of all:

Encouraging the people of their nations to reproduce themselves.

Honestly, this is quite likely because neoliberalism, as embodied by the city, is fundamentally hampered by the labor-wasting task of "having and rearing children"

See San Francisco, likely our most economically productive hub—and the city with the lowest fertility in America

Within the neoliberal framework, where people are no more than interchangeable economic units, it makes absolute sense to *discourage* your population from having kids—these only detract from your ability to contribute economic labor—and import the Third World's offspring instead

If there's a surplus of humans (ie labor) over in that nation and they're not using them very efficiently, why not bring in as many as possible, where we can use them better

If economics is all you really care about, this makes perfect sense. Unless... your assumptions are wrong

There are two main assumptions at play. First, that you can import endless replacements, but that your ideology is strong enough to convert them all to your ideo-cultural position, allowing it to continue perpetuating itself

How's that working out among the replacements so far?

The second assumption, which has many ties to the first, is that *all human beings are interchangeable.*

There are many, many reasons to believe this isn't true. Differences in IQ is only the most obvious of them; we aren't even really studying the more subtle differences.

If there are differences between groups, it's the death knell of neoliberalism. Yet everywhere we go, group differences endure

How to square the circle? Oppression. Marginalization. Racism. This is where Woke Capital comes from: neoliberalism grabbing at any means to save itself

Neoliberalism made a bad investment: to maximize profits, it imported foreign citizens rather than reproducing its own. It was a short-term strategy. It's obviously failing.

Its solution is to sell off its assets even harder, and let our future generations deal with the fallout.
