Poor Tucker got battered by Long John Silver's.
I mean, they looked at the ratings, looked at the racism, made the decision, and said "let the chips fall where they may."
Long John himself stared right into the maw of Fox's dogs of war and said "Hush, puppies."
When reached for comment, Long John's CEO, Cole Jenkins, said "Look, when it comes to running this country there's only one law that matters, and it's Cole's law."
When asked what motivated him to make the decision, Jenkins shook his head and responded "Cod and country, just doin' it for cod and country man."
Ok, while we're on the subject of fish jokes, I feel compelled to re-up my favorite Tom Swifty of all time.
In sum, I applaud Long John Silver’s refusal to let Tucker and his herring-volk politics off the hook.
