Then his wife started a presidential campaign in 2015, and Bill’s favorable plummeted (well before #MeToo). 4/

If there was a #ClintonBodyCount, I highly doubt Anthony Weiner would’ve been spared, speaking of sexually abusive men and philanderers. In this case, one whose philandering and sexually abusive bshavior set off a chain of events that cost HRC the 2016 election. 8/

The misogyny that makes people ready to believe every wild conspiracy theory about Hillary (“She murdered Seth Rich, Vince Foster & now Epstein!”) is rooted in the same loathing that lets men like Jeffrey Epstein get away with abusing countless women & young girls for so long. 9/

To be clear: I’m not defending Bill Clinton here. But the unhinged hate Bill now gets folded into isn’t about his sins. It’s rooted in misogyny borne of his wife’s daring to dominate in male spaces—the same misogyny that gives men a pass for abusing women. 14/
