If even 8% of Brexit voters don't want No-Deal, then #NoDealBrexit is against the will of the people.
Sorry, I actually got that wrong.
I based my calculations on a total reversal.
4% of 51.9% = 2.1
51.9% - 2.1% = 49.8

So...
If even 4% of Brexit voters don't want No-Deal, then #NoDealBrexit is against the will of the people.
So what are the odds that 96% of the people who argued for Brexit by swearing that it would produce an amazing trade deal, are all now OK with the exact opposite?

Dear @JeremyCorbyn,
Since Johnson took office you've passed more laws than he has. If you call an election you risk GIVING the Tories power.
You also risk repeating the democratic failure of 2017 where the majority vote for anti-no-deal parties but no-deal parties get more seats.
There's a majority against No-Deal in the Parliament now, which leaves only Deal & Stay.
The logical way to decide between them is a referendum.
The Tories are calling you a coward for not calling an election... True cowardice would be to let their taunting manipulate your pride.
You don't want to be the Labour leader who led a majority in Parliament then, due to personal pride and a failure to understand the reality of First-Past-the-Post, handed a majority to the Tories to let them trash the country via an election where the majority vote against them.

Nigel Farage already admitted his #EUArmy scaremongering is deceitful.
He knows that it's entirely our choice because that's how the EU works. WATCH HIM ADMIT THAT.
Put it this way.

With us still IN the EU, the other 27 countries of the EU could choose to form a European Army without us.
OR
We could leave the EU but still sign a defence pact to join an #EUArmy from the outside.

BREXIT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE BECAUSE IT'S BASED ON CONSENT!
If you don't know the #EUArmy scaremongering is just manipulation, that doesn't make you stupid.
Two weeks ago I had to explain it to the Oxford-educated parents of a friend of mine.
But it does mean you need to do better at fact-checking what you hear.

Brexit showed me just how desperately the UK needs to change..
But we can only fix the country if Brexit stops.
I was part of the problem.

I was working on 'traditional' inequalities like race and gender, because it matched my skill set and passion, assuming that UK politicians were sufficiently working on regional inequality.
I was wrong.

@StevenFrance4 We can either spend the next 8+years in EU negotiations, having the same arguments trade and sovereignty, while trying to cobble something together with Trump that doesn't snuff out our NHS and farming industry, or we can focus on regional investment and electoral reform.

Before this week's #Brexit shenanigans, I said this:

"With May as Prime Minister there can be no Brexit deal"

I stand by that statement

I see no way that the #EUCO - ongoing as I write this thread - can give May anything that'll appease the Brexit hard liners in her party

🇪🇺 is not going to make the backstop time limited or allow 🇬🇧 to unilaterally withdraw it. So the deal on the table is essentially unchanged
The Tories reaching across the political divide to Labour still looks like a ridiculously long shot as well:

1. The Twitter remain movement really doesn't have any self awareness. Even filtering out the snobs, bigots and crazies, they still haven't grasped #Brexit at all. (thread)
2. For all that they have shown an impressive ability to build self-referential echo chambers, mobilising enormous Twitter followings, having spend millions in the process, if the polls are anything to go by they haven't actually achieved anything.
3. The reason for this being that they have made no attempt to understand Brexit voters. If they had they would understand why their activities have proven entirely futile. They are really barking up the wrong tree.
