Upside: it's a magnet for those who want to remain and the chaos of Brexit to stop. It's clear, simple, and can be conveyed in 30s.
Downside: gives ammunition to those saying that the LD want to overturn the result of ref 1. But I don't see how that matters *because it's true*.

If you're the kind of person who gets stroppy about the thought of the set-in-stone result of the first referendum being overturned, you were never ever going to vote LD anyway.
