Dozens of protesters gathering in Senate building before heading to senators' offices to confront them on their support for Trump's "narrow-minded judges" -- and to urge them to vote no on Steven Menashi.

Arrests expected.
Capitol police are ready for this.
First stop is Sen. Coons office. This staffer is like, ahhhh man, what.
Sen. Coons isn't here. Protesters in his office respond with "shut it down" chants.
And the arrests begin as protesters sit on the floor in front of Coons' office and shout "we won't back down on Brown!"

They're referring to the Senate confirming judicial nominees who refuse to say if Brown v. Board of Education was correctly decided.
Next stop on this judge protest train: Sen. Thom Tillis' office.

He and Coons are both on the Judiciary Committee. Both have supported Trump judges who wouldn't say in committee if they thought Brown v Board of Ed was correctly decided.
Protesters taking over Tillis' office. A Chapel Hill resident is giving a speech the crowd is repeating.

"I want Sen. Tillis to know that his constituents & many others do not want him to vote for any justices who will not... support Brown v Board of Ed. That is settled law."
Meanwhile, Demand Justice -- one of the organizers of this protest -- just dropped a new digital ad urging Sen. Coons to stop voting for Trump’s judicial nominees who won't say if Brown v Board of Education was correctly decided.
More arrests now outside of Sen. Tillis' office as 100+ people keep chanting, "We won't! We won't! We won't back down on Brown!"
This judicial protest is two-pronged. Coons and Tillis = essentially being shamed for supporting judges who wouldn't say if Brown v Board of Ed was correctly decided.

Next Senate offices = targets on Steven Menashi, who gets his Judiciary hearing tomorrow morning.
Next target? Sen. Susan Collins.
Someone now reading aloud a passage from Ady Barkan's book to Susan Collins' aides.

"This is not the first time your boss has betrayed us."
More arrests at Susan Collins' office.

It's getting slightly tense as protesters and police keep doing this at more offices, but mostly orderly.
Protesters were particularly angry with Collins. Someone said they couldn't believe they were back in her office again after protesting Kavanaugh here. Someone else said she's in trouble in 2020.

"Y'all better update your resumés," a woman said to Collins aides.
Next stop on the judicial protest train: Sen. Mark Warner's office.
And... more arrests at Sen. Warner's office.
Haven't seen any of the actual senators at these office crashes. But staff have been coming out and trying to engage.
Last stop on the judge protest train? Sen. Dianne Feinstein's office.

She's the top Dem on the Judiciary Committee. Protesters are dropping off petitions with 108K signatures opposing Steven Menashi, whose confirmation hearing is tomorrow.
Who is Steven Menashi and why are protesters so fired up about him being on his way to a lifetime federal judgeship?
